The dashboard

Your agency's numbers for the period you pick, the deals in play, who flies next and what is still to collect.

The dashboard is the screen you land on, and it answers two questions at once: how the period went, and what needs your attention today.

Reading it, in order

  1. Set the period at the top. Last 30 days is the default, and you can switch to this month, the last 60 or 90 days, this year or last year.
  2. Overview: departures, proposals published, revenue and invoiced, each compared with the same length of time before it.
  3. Business health: your closing rate with the deals behind it, the open pipeline, your margin and what is still outstanding.
  4. Pipeline: the board in miniature. Full view opens the real one.
  5. Upcoming departures and collections due: who flies next, and what should land in the next 30 days.

Not every number follows the period

Overview and Business health are measured over the period you picked. Open pipeline, Outstanding and Upcoming departures ignore it, because a deal you have not closed and money you have not collected are true today whatever window you are looking through. That is why those three do not move when you change the selector.

The default is a rolling 30 days rather than the calendar month on purpose. On the 2nd of the month, This month may still show all zeros, and four zeros can make the dashboard look broken rather than early.

The first week

A new agency has nothing to count yet, so the dashboard offers a sample proposal instead. Import it and take it apart. It is the fastest way to see what a finished proposal looks like before you build your first one.

Revenue counts what you have collected, not what you have invoiced. The two sit side by side on purpose: the gap between them is your outstanding.
