Proposals & sellingUpdated · 4 min read

The client portal

The page behind the share link: your branding, the itinerary, one package price, and two buttons that keep the deal moving.

When you press Share, RoundPlan publishes the proposal to a private link. The page uses your branding, shows the itinerary day by day with photos and a map, and gives one package price with what is included. Your costs, margins and supplier notes never appear on it.

Sending it

  1. Press Preview first and read the page as your client will read it.
  2. Press Share. If the proposal is not published yet, this publishes it.
  3. Customise the link's address, so the client opens something readable instead of a code.
  4. Send it by email or WhatsApp from the same dialog, or copy the link and send it your own way.

Approve, or ask for changes

A client reading a live proposal gets Approve itinerary and Request changes. Approve notifies you by email and moves the deal to planning; nothing is charged and the client is told so before confirming. Request changes opens a message box, and what they write lands on the trip's Overview and in your inbox. There is no Reject button. A client who is not ready to approve can request changes instead.

One link, several versions

When the deal carries proposal options, the same page shows a tab for each option: each option is a full version of the trip with its own days and price, and the Approve button approves the one the client is reading. After approval, only the chosen version renders.

The link itself

Unpublish stops the link working until you publish again. The address never changes, so the same link in your client's inbox works again.

Once the deal is sold, the same page keeps serving the client: the price section becomes a payment status block with what is paid and what is still due against the package they agreed to. It lists only the payments you have published, so a row you are still drafting stays yours. If the trip has a client currency set, every figure on the page is shown in it.

With a Stripe account connected, each payment still due carries a Pay now button on that same page, so the client settles the deposit without waiting for a bank transfer. How to set that up is in collect payments online.
